10-month ECHO Project assistant


Paris-Dauphine PSL offers a 10-month research project assistant position, starting 15/11/23. The recruited person will fully participate into the completion of Work Packages 2 and 6 of the Red Roses project.


The Red Roses project is co-funded by the European Commission (agreement 101101221). It comprises Italian and French partners (Italian Red Cross, Italian National Council for Research, French Red Cross, French Office of Geological Studies and Paris-Dauphine University PSL). It aims at supporting cross-border resilience and the strengthening of a data ecosystem at the Italian French border.


Paris-Dauphine PSL is in charge of WP2 and will produce a governance plan (deliverable D2.2 in the project). A cohort of master students will participate in the completion of the governance plan (part of their training for research methods). The recruited person will be fully involved in the building of the governance plan and supervision of the students.


As a research assistant, the person will also be directly involved in the following tasks that will support other Work Packages of the Red Roses project (WPs).


Prerequisites:


The candidate should hold a master 2 degree, preferably on topics related to the Red Roses project. Previous professional experience with projects, or in relation to emergency management or cross-border regions will be very much appreciated. Candidates with a good knowledge of data management and a data culture are welcome for this position.  Alternatively, the recruited person should be motivated to collaborate with practitioners and researchers from various disciplines and cultures. Working languages: French and English
